Step 1:
You will need:
- Fabric
- Elastic
- Ruler
- Masking tape
- Thread
- Scissors
Step 1:
Cut a 2” piece of tape.
Step 2:
Mark with the ruler 6cm on the masking tape.
Step 3:
Place the tape over the needle plate.
Check that the tape doesn’t cover de feed dogs.
- You can also occupy the groove of the foot to direct the tape with the marked measurements correctly.
Step 4:
Put the elastic on the presser foot and check that the elastic slide correctly through the foot.
To sew the elastic, you must select the zig-zag or 3-step zig-zag stitch.
- We suggest that when starting to sew, stitch a few stitches at the beginning of the elastic.
Step 5:
Now, put the fabric under the presser foot and start sewing.
Step 6:
Take the elastic at #5 of the guide and stretch it to #6.
Step 7:
Repeat this step until finished.
- Remember to finish the seam.
Done!
