Hello Dreamers! In this post, we will show you a straightforward tip for sewing elastics on your domestic sewing machine.

You will need:
Cut a 2” piece of tape.
Mark with the ruler 6cm on the masking tape.
Place the tape over the needle plate.
Check that the tape doesn’t cover de feed dogs.
Put the elastic on the presser foot and check that the elastic slide correctly through the foot.
To sew the elastic, you must select the zig-zag or 3-step zig-zag stitch.
Now, put the fabric under the presser foot and start sewing.
Take the elastic at #5 of the guide and stretch it to #6.
Repeat this step until finished.
This guide can be used to apply any elastic with uniform tension.
