1. Look for the correct needle.

2. Assure the placement.
The second step is to place the needle in the sewing machine; we recommend screwing it perfectly.
Then you need to make a test by lowering and raising by hand, so you can check the needle didn’t hit the presser foot or any components of your sewing machine.
3. Select the correct press foot.
For the use of the twin needles, we recommend always placing a zig-zag presser foot, the applique presser foot, or any with an open wide that allows you to sew with decorative o zig-zag wide stitches.
Consequently, you don’t worry about the needle hitting when it lowers or raises.
4. Threading your machine
Our suggestion for this case is that you verify the step-by-step threading by guiding with your sewing machine manual.
Place the same brand threads; you can use different colors only if it’s the same kind of thread in both needles.
Thread each needle by hand; never use the automatic threader of your machine because you could cause damage in its works.
5. Adjust the length and width stitch.
If your machine has the option to make that function, you should select it; in this way, you will limit the width stitch avoiding the needles hitting the components of your machine.
